This is Captain Peavy, baw. He was in TLJ, which explains why I wasn't familiar with him, having seen the film exactly once.
Your photo is of Captain (later Admiral) Piett, who was famously given a battlefield promotion at the start of the Battle of Hoth when Admiral Ozzel brought the Imperial fleet out of lightspeed too early, and Vader choked him out as a result.
In keeping with this thread, however it's worth noting that Kenneth Colley who DID play Capt./Adm. Piett in Empire and ROTJ also played Jesus in Monty Python's Life of Brian.

Recently rewatched The Money Pit and noticed the paramedic looked familiar.

Watching Clear and Present Danger, some young, upset soldier yelled at Harrison Ford. That voice sounded awfully familar. Sure enough that young sniper....
was Tuco (Raymond Cruz) of Breaking Bad fame.

That was no nameless soldier. He played Ding Chavez, a major player in the Clancy universe.

I sort of disconnected from most TV, music and sports starting in the mid 80s through the first decade of the 2000s. Missed out on a lot of that stuff but got a lot of other things done but particularly work. Catching up to some extent now.

Hot damn:
Star Trek Nemesis.
Came across on whatever. Somehow I missed it back then and after.
Saw Shinzon and thought “that looks/acts like a weirdly young Tom Hardy” hit the info button but his name wasn’t listed. And as it went on it was so annoying I googled it and Yes that’s him, 2002, I had no idea he was working big roles that far back.

I just realized the other day that the FedEx driver in “Horrible Bosses” was Meghan Markle

I hate it when people just post the picture like everyone automatically knows what movie it's from. Just say the damn movie name.

Probably because when she did that movie she was nobody. She still looks the same.

I was watching Fandango back in the late 80s, and realized that the big dude to the left is Chuck Bush.
I knew Chuck when he was working At Sound City music in Baton Rouge back in the mid 80s....

The lady and I recently started watching Lost for the first time. Last night she asked me if Matthew Fox had been in anything else. I wasn't familiar with him so I looked up his filmography, and it turns out he was the security guard in Smokin' Aces
And the hit man/fake FBI agent in Smokin Aces, that kills Fox, played in Lost as well

In “The Jerk”, two of the three Mrs Nussbaums are Trinidad Silva from “Colors” and Pepe Serna, who gets sliced up with a chainsaw in “Scarface”. They are both very recognizable in “The Jerk”. I cannot find out who plays the third guy.

SIAP but this blew my mind recently, spotted it on my own during a Beverly Hills Cop rewatch.
He's Victor Maitlin's lead henchman in Beverly Hills Cop.
