Oh My God!
Episode 5 was fricking crazy between Hailey J and her mother in the ring. The thumb tacks!!!!!
ETA: wow, that was disturbing but man, what a show they put on in that match. Watching them picking out thumbtacks out of their bodies was unbelievable.

This is amazingly trashy, sad and exciting. They blonde chick and her mom give me a weird boner. Sweet lord that Polk Salad festival in Harlan was awful.

Just finished this. Never been a big wrestling fan but something about this sucked me in. It was really good. It was much, much better than it had any right to be.

We finished episode 3 last night. They are making Matt look like the douche he is, but that seizure was hard to watch, and I'm sure difficult for him to see.
He said on KSR that he had not seen the final product, so I'm assuming he saw it for the first time when watching.
And those wrestlers doing all this for so little pay. Ugh.

So finished it up last night. They really left a lot out of the overall ending.
Did the Indian Lion recover? Did they make enough on the big show and PPV to consider the summer a success?
I take it that most of the wrestlers pay comes from merch sales and not payment from OVW.
That overall sounds like a depressing lifestyle. All the houses they lived in were somehwat ran down looking. You beat your body up for little pay. I really felt for Cash Flo, he seems like a good guy who loves his family.
And Matt decided to go douche to end the show with the initial restriction on drinks.
Side comment: In 1976 or 77, my brother and I were on our way to Rupp to watch wrestling. Saw a van on the side of the road broke down, bunch of men standing around. It was some of the wrestlers for the night, including Lanny Poffo and his brother Randy Poffo (Randy Savage later) and their dad.
We helped fix their tire, they didn't have a tire iron with them and they took us back and gave us the VIP tour. It was pretty wild.
