There have been a few R rated movies he has seen, but they've all been rated R for language and violence... most are older movies that nowadays would probably have received a PG13 rating.

That being said, I know he has access to more nudity, violence and profanity nowadays than I ever did as a child. Still doesn't mean I'm going to let him watch whatever he wants whenever he wants.

For instance, he wanted to watch Deadpool. He still hasn't. Even at his age, there are limits

Unless you keep him locked in a cage, he has seen Deadpool.

I heard it was rated R for violence and brief nudity.

For those who have seen it... how bad is it? What's the brief nudity?

Should I leave the kid at home?

I watched the Shining when I was like 8....and American Pie at 13/14.

I'm sure X-Men at 16 is perfectly fine.

Geez, do you sit with him for every movie and cover his eyes if there is nudity? Tell him "earmuffs" if there are "bad" words? That poor kid.

I saw Night of the Living Dead when I was between 5-7. I might be a little fricked up from it, who knows, but we all have our problems.

A 16 year old can't see Deadpool? Jesus Christ.

Does he have to meet all his dates in the parlor?

My dad loves horror movies....so I grew up seeing them as a kid. Watching Chuckie and Jason and Freddie when I was like 6-7. And it didn't turn me into a deranged serial killer either

That is assuming the poor kid has actually learned about the birds and the bees yet and is even allowed to go on dates

See...those are the kids that end up getting knocked up/knocking up someone else as a teenager.

Brief nudity? I gurantee you that your 16 year old watches porn.

Violance? Yea better have him shield his eyes. 16 year olds hate violance lol

I was sneaking into films at 10.

You think a 16 year old hasn't seen violence and nudity?

It's probably Hugh's arse anyways. Or a boob.

First horror movie I remember seeing was Return of the Living Dead when I was 4.

Lived next to a cemetary, and it stood out.

My wife and I took our two boys, 12 and 11, along with our 9 year old daughter to see it in IMAX on Saturday.

They saw a tit for 2 seconds. Trust me, kids these days hear way more cuss words at school on a daily basis than what was in Logan.

I mean, my favorite movie at 8 years old (still is BTW) was Conan the Barbarian. There was way more arse and killing in it.

It's strange that people think they know what a complete stranger's kid does.
