This series is hard to watch because it's real and in each case authorities were constantly notified for help and never did anything material to prevent such tragic outcomes.

Not justifying his actions whatsoever, but those people pushed him and the rest of the neighborhood to the edge. Dude most likely had ptsd as well and they constantly harassed him, called him gay, etc
