I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the shite out of Missandeis tits and arse, I enjoyed the battle at the end, which is what I went in hoping for

Oh, and even though it left me wanting to look away Sam trying to cure Jorahs greyscale was very interesting in a really screwed up sort of way. And the Dany and Varys exchanges to start the episode were good. I for the life of me can't understand what some of you are bitching about.

And Jon+Dany is finally happening
Arya finds out about Jon beating the boltons and sees nymeria on the way (that was nymeria)
Rockstar front man euron wins game one of the GOT Finals but game 2 at castle rock may be different
Sam helps jorah
Great back and fourth with tyrion, varys, and Danny
I hate the stupid arse sand snakes even if they align with Danny so I enjoyed the shite out of that

That is the part I really enjoyed. Varys showed more balls than a lot of characters. His life was on the line right there in that moment and he didn't flinch or sweat one bit.

Some of these people are misery watching this show. They don't have time for much detail here we are what 10 episodes left in the show? Time to get the war moving.

Yeah, no. While everyone is busy bitching about one scene that was unnecessary, the rest was quality GoT.

It's why I wish the seasons would have more episodes. You're still going to have to have some build up for things to realistically converge (Dany/Jon, the remaining Starks, Tyrion/Jaime, etc). But people are too fricking ADD to handle even short build up. It's sad.

I was caught off guard with that scene. Was it established earlier in the series that Dany was going to question his motives once they got back to Westeros?

Thinking back Varys and Dany didnt have that much interaction in Mareen.

WTH? Some people aren't happy unless they're unhappy.

Rhetorical question. Answer is yes.

It was the best one yet.

No wasted motion or action and a complete surprise at the end.

Tyrion, all star hand and MVP -- his plan went totally to shite. The Minor Greyjoys whacked as Dany's allies?

Arya finally headed for Winterfell?

Jon choking Little Finger?

Grey worm and Melsandre doing whatever it was they could -- that was the same sort of catharsis we got from Jon pounding Ramsay's head into jelly.

It was brilliant.

I mean what do they want? A two minute music montage of Jon meeting Danny, Arya finding out about Jon, bran worging and then we just jump into dragons bbqing kings landing

Then a quick cut scene to Sansa being over taken by white walkers pan to jons face and he says something whitty followed by fasted paced music and then Jon versus the white walkers

Before the season they had 14 hours to wrap up. The first seven will be heavily about Jon/Dany and allies against Cersie/Euron. With some Jon focus on the big picture. We'll have some battle at castle rock which will likely cripple cersie. Tonight was a lose for team Danny but not a huge one considering what Danny has (and may add) versus what cersie has. Next season, the final 7 episodes, will focus on the white walkers

Sand Snakes and Greyjoys story lines have to be wrapped up somehow. Why not do them first?

Would you rather the series finale be Reek and the Sand Snakes?

Why did they burn budget on a huge set piece involving the fricking Sand Snakes and a Greyjoy fued?

Makes no sense.

That's some Walking Dead stupidity right there.

It made plenty of sense. That wasn't the main point any way. The Main point is that Tyrion's plan to conquer Westeros is in the toilet before it even starts.

To install Euron as a legitimate threat and make the war for the Irone Throne more even. Dany had every advantage, it doesn't setup for a very dramatic ending if she just steamrolls Cercei

Also they murdered the sand snakes. No more sand snakes. This is a good thing, why are you complaining???

So they finally kill off most of what we've hated about the show in one swoop and people are pissed?

Why am I not shocked.

My one prediction was that the writers would close out a bunch of plot lines very quickly. Looks like the Sand Snakes and maybe the Greyjoys are finis.
