Not really. It’s a very small plot point that means absolutely nothing without any context of the show and has pretty much zero impact of the following plot of the show unless I’m confusing the scene he’s discussing
ETA okay so I was confusing the scene he was talking about. I guess you could argue that is a spoiler but again without the context of the show to that point there’s really no way to understand what that scene means or it’s importance

To answer your question, the implication is that he is actually working for Nilfguard or someone else as someone mentioned earlier in this thread.

I must have missed that. I just assumed he was beating the crap out of a Nilfgard guy after having his shite pushed in.
