After watching all episodes of Modern Family and The Office I can never go back to shows with laugh tracks. It's unbearable.

I miss that show. Would love to find a station that shows reruns.

Antenna Tv airs News Radio weeknights at 11pm. 26.2 if you're around New Orleans

Ive never seen one second of either show. I’ve seen some Big Bang Theory gifs however.

Modern Family and Big Bang Theory both suck.

I guess that’s why they lasted so long.

There are things that I hate about MF...characters mostly (Mitchell, Manny, older Luke, Lilly), but it's a show that I have always enjoyed. I don't like it as much now as I used to, but I catch it in reruns here and there and it still makes me laugh. I used to think the writing was pretty sharp and sometimes brilliant too, although later on it felt like the jokes were a little too forced in most situations.

Solid show though.

I'll second Happy Endings though. That show is awesome, and not many remember it.

My vote is for Rules of Engagement though (already mentioned). I absolutely LOVED that show, and watched it religiously when it aired. And to this day, most people have never heard of it. Looking back, I have no idea how it lasted 7 seasons.

Will history be kinder to Modern Family than pop culture was?

I haven’t seen the show.

It sounds very politically aware. And very conscious of the party line, circa now.

Media like that won’t age well, because it’s so trapped in social politics that are unique to the era. And those politics change rapidly. What was clever and up to date, quickly becomes retrograde.

CBS had a very strong slate of Monday night comedies anchored by Raymond. Rules of E rode that wave.
