As long as we're over thinking shite. If all you have to do is poke a hole in their noggin, you would think .22 would be the round of choice. Most widely available, can be interchanged b/t pistol and rifle, and chicks and that shite head kids like Carl can handle it.

that's all I can think of, it's like a golf club that he's attached to and performs better due to familiarity

If we are going to overanalyze, wouldn't killing the dead be pretty easy now. I mean, they are continually decomposing. So by the time they are 1 year old dead, their bodies should be unable to sustain any sort of weight, with all of the cartilage and muscle fibers deteriorating. Should be as simple as telling everyone to watch their step and poking them in the heads with sticks to kill the oens that are bitey.

Hell, at this point a head shot with a pellet gun would just about do the trick.

Ideally you'd want a high capacity 9mm full size semi-auto pistol, a .22 pistol, in addition to a .22 rifle, all suppressed.
