You've lost all of your credibility, but you had none in the fist place. You should brace yourself, and maybe stop posting.

-- Boxing is generally boring.

-- Boxers in movies aren't interesting characters.

-- There's only so much to see/hear about boxing.

Disagree.

Raging Bull, Rocky, and Cinderella Man say hello.

ETA: In response to OP, Ali is by far my least favorite Michael Mann movie. I dislike it. But, it's not all boxing movies.

The thing that suck about these movies is that boxing is nowhere near the same as they make it out to be in these cheesy movies

Have a downvote. There are plenty of great boxing movies.

If you want 12 rounds of jabbing and dodging then watch real boxing nowadays.

I don't know you, but I'd be willing to bet that you know very little about boxing IRL. Present or past.

I'm guessing you think The Expendables got robbed at the Academy Awards.

The Fighter and The Hurricane as well. And I know some aren't fans of it but I'd include Million Dollar Baby too.

I'm lukewarm at best on Ali.

There are a lot of good boxing movies. I don't think the OP has seen many of them.

Out of all the types of sports movies, boxing tend to be the best. I can think of a truly all time classic football movie, and all that is coming to mind for baseball are Field of Dreams and maybe a League of Their Own, and of course the Sandlot for nostalgia's sake. But none of these really approach Rocky or Raging Bull.
