Why didn't we have a Below Deck Season 4 thread?

Just finished Season 4.
I wanted to vomit at Kyle. That guy's value is going to shoot up sky high now that he was on Below Deck and he can get his pick of pussy wherever he wants. Yet he instead decides to get engaged to a repulsive disgusting tranny.
So why did he even bother to try to date Sierra early in the season if he was so madly in love with tranny Ashley? Makes me think one, if not both, of the storylines were forced/scripted.
I thought the Kate-Ro side story was scripted however and it turns out it wasn't once that crime report came out. Kate... has not aged well at all. Either she smokes too much or does drugs, she is only 31 or 32 and yet looks like she is 40. Some will say she is a bitch but she is right. Emily and Sierra started to slack off toward the end of the season, and she is their boss, she has every right to crack down.
Ben the Chef had the best attitude. I loved his give no fricks style.
Sierra is a smokeshow. Why Kyle was the only one who tried to get a piece of her, and why they all thought Emily was hotter, baffled me.
Emily annoyed me all season. I didn't like her "soft sweet innocent British girl" act at all.
Nico bothered me at first because I felt he was too arrogant but once Kelley put him in line he got better.
Lauren = 3rd wheel. Literally. I watched all 14 episodes of the season and still had to Google what her name was. That unmemorable of a character.
Captain Lee is still the man. Wish I could work for that man. No nonsense approach.

this IS the only season I've ever watched but I've watched it all with my gf and I somehow still can't decide if I like the show or not

Kyle seemed like a guy I could hang out with. He's not flamboyant or anything and doesn't try to force it down your throat that he's (insert whatever you call Kyle, I truly don't know what he's supposed to be called). It sounds like he thought that situation was kinda up in the air when he left for charter season so I wouldn't doubt him trying for something else. If I feel like I'm on a girls hook and she's looking elsewhere, I'm certainly not going to sit around and wait on her no matter how much I like her.

2. We don't really know if they slacked off that much or not
3. She has every right to crack down and even if they felt like it was undeserved, they should've sucked it up and worked harder once they realized Kate raised her standards

The Ben/Emily thing was weird to me. Seems like he didn't really pay attention to her until Kate pretty much forced him too. Now he's completely in love with her? I'm a little skeptical. I think he still has a thing for Kate.

When was that? Kelley never put Nico in line. Nico was way too quick to blame anybody else for anything that went wrong. First he thought Kelley was too lax. Then he thought Kelley was too tough. Pool floats away, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING KELLEY?!!" They get drunk and tear up the bathroom, "Kate's a snitch!!" Never took responsibility for himself.

Decent breakdown.
Threads on this show don't get much action. Probably because most know it is scripted/staged, for the most part.
My wife missed Eddie the Bosun this season.
She follows Ben on social media & apparently he is still dating Emily.
Sierra is a complete millenial. She needee attention & praise for every single task & was baffled why she didn't receive praise after fricking up because in her mind she was still doing her job.
Trevor is a complete frick nut. Wow.
I love how uncomfortable Capt Lee always is at dinner with the guests on board. I'd be happy as hell to sit, drink, & eat Ben's cooking all while getting paid!

Wife and I were avid Below Deck watchers. Eddie was our favorite. He's the guy out of all of them I'd want to hang out with. He did lose several points for his fling with crazy Rocky last season.
Below Deck Med was kind of odd. Bobby was the man.
All that leads to me to Below Deck Season 4. I wasn't thrilled by any of the cast this season. Of course Captain Lee is the GOAT but with Eddie not coming back AND the bust of Below Deck Med, i was already feeling Blah about this season.
First off, how the frick was kelly the bosun? He sucked royally at being a deckhand in the previous season.
Sierra is crazy as all get out.
Nico seemed like an ok guy. Really didn't have any issues with him.
Kyle is something else. Pretty sure he was brought on for shock factor.
Emily was bizarre. In the opening show she mentioned how much she loved sex and how horny she was and then did a complete 180 for the rest of the show.
Ben seems like a good dude but he is one moody guy. never know when and why he will fly off the handle. I credit him for always seeming to be able to recover well though.

Acted like a complete bitch everytime things did not go exactly his way. Like when Sierra invited the others to go out with her and Kyle, and Kyle went full twat on her. No surprise to me that he is a pole smoker.

Yes he cooks crew meal. Certainly not up to the snuff of what he serves the guests.
Same as most restaurants that cook a "family meal" before the lunch or dinner shifts.

The crew does make some great money. I read somewhere that the chief stew ( Kate ) could make between $8 K to $12 K a month depending on size of the yacht and experience. I don't think they work a full 12 month schedule. They work a charter season which could be 2 months and then take a break and work a few more charter seasons. Not bad money plus the locations they are working in are fabulous.
This season seemed a lot more scripted drama than years past. I think Kelley being a bosun was part of that script. I can't imagine he got that much experience in a year to work his way to bosun level.
Emily can look really good without those glasses. Sierra is sexy but major drama and all about her. Ben is awesome. Dude gives zero shits about anything going on around him and delivers great food. Capt Lee is the man. Kate does not age well at all. She is a bitch and looks 20 years older than she should.
