It was a fine movie. And Abrams did more creative things with the Force than Lucas did in the prequels.

The fact of the matter is they needed to give us a competent movie to give us faith back into the franchise. They succeeded. I'm sure they looked at vigorously at the Plinkett review to make sure it passed all of his criticisms. It did, but Plinkett later complained about the lack of creativity in the story.

I will not give TLJ the same benefit of the doubt as this. It needs to do something different from Empire. But we have a highly competent filmmaker behind it, so I'm not all that nervous.

I don't understand why Disney doesn't make a full Vader movie. Vader was the most recognized and talked about part in rogue one. I really don't care about a Han Solo movie or Boba fett.

And they better hurry if they ever are. James Earl isn't a spring chicken.

Unless the prequel is set far in the past, then we know what will happen, and I'm typically against it. What Vader was doing between Episodes III and IV, who really cares?

Give us Knights of the Old Republic if you're going with a prequel. That reeks of a cinematic treatment.

There's so much they can do with the Knights of the Old Republic. My dream would be a mini-series for each book.

I want a movie about an expanded xwing campaign. Showing the day to day shite and space/Arial dogfighting. It would be tits.
