. Jamie Fox being the I cut deal lawyer and only care about my family was the villian.

This. I always hated this movie because the true villain lost nothing from his family because of his selfish ego. Ruined lots of others lives to rack up wins and didn’t actually care about justice. Butler’s character was a sympathetic “villain” because he was just a guy fighting corruption that cost him his whole world.

I think lots of people come out of that film feeling disgusted with the world.

The thing that made him the Mad Titan is because he was obsessed with being right.

But either solution with the stones was wrong. You kill half off instantly and you traumatize a species. You double resources and you create a growth rate that is less sustainable.

Either way he's a mortal playing god. It's madness.

Moved on to what though? Back to the same ole grind of trying to make it as a civilization until the next set back. Wars, famines, quality of life disparity. Not exactly paradise.

And create a universal welfare state? A bunch of lazy life forms waiting on the next handout from Uncle Thanos? Take a look at the inner city of major metropolises. Imagine that on a galactic scale.

Thanos believed the available resources were plentiful and that shrinking the population of the universe would lead to a utopian future for those who survived the snap. It was also said that the planets he had already visited were way better off after his culling.

So my vote for the thread is Thanos.

Michael Douglas in Falling Down-even though he may not be considered a villain

Saw unhinged today and kinda agreed with Russel Crowe’s character - about what’s wrong with a little courtesy nowadays.

Well that movie is edited super weird. I would agree with your post for 2/3rds of the movie. They present him as an anti hero with a story that everyone roots for

Problem is that final part of the movie is like someone else wrote/directed it. Jamie Fox is the hero and it makes Gerard Butler look like a maniac

If they would’ve picked a lane that movie would’ve been an all timer in terms of cheesy action flicks
