I have no doubt Barbie will make more on weekend #1 but I predict steep drop after that. The movie is an ultra woke, ultra-feminist, ultra-gay crap fest using the nostalgia of the Barbie brand as a trojan horse.
The people super excited for it will all go see if the first weekend and it will have no word of mouth and fall off a cliff after weekend #1, giving Oppenheimer a chance to end with overall more. It will likely be a good movie and good movies have much better legs at the box office thanks to word of mouth.
