Yep...Who doesn't know the lyrics to that song that lived their JR high & high school years in the 90s? And the lyrics fit perfectly with a show about and urban kid from Philly who goes to live in Bel Air. It is basically the quintessiential theme song for kids/teens of the 90s.

Yeah but we are talking about a sitcom theme song, not a serious song.
I think that the Fresh Prince theme song was perfect for the show itself, and the shows target audience.

I've actually never listened to the entire Family Matters theme song, because I always changed the channel. Never really liked that show, or Full House, or any of the other family shows.
The Frazier theme was pretty iconic, thought I didn't really watch that show either.
