Absolutely nothing.

This is why Leo will never win best actor.

Who gives a shite if he was on site in the snow blah blah blah. Still speaks with the same accent. Reminds me of Kevin Costner having a Brooklyn accent for Robin Hood.

Leo has the range of a crumpet.

Cinematography for the Revenant was amazing though. The director should do some discovery channel pieces with the incredible shots he captured.

What did Hugh Glass actually sound like then? His accent didnt bother me at all for this. I have no idea what frontiersmen in the 1800s born in pennsylvania sounded like

A lot of Leo fans would have you believe Best Actor is a lifetime achievement award. In reality, he's never been snubbed. Every year he's been nominated, there's been someone better in the category.

The best actors are those who can manage to remain themselves in whoever or whatever they portray.

Acting is about believability. Do they make feel and experience the character? When you watch the movie are you convinced that they are the character? Leo immersed himself in his role effectively. Often Oscars go individuals who portrayed someone with a tick, flaw or outright disability. He portrayed a man crippled by a bear mauling very effectively, with his physicality and speech impediment issues. This is not a typical role where the criticism you laid out really fits. It shows a lack of acumen on your part when it comes to critical analysis.

Glass was surviving in the wilderness and battling through severe injuries. He was fighting through pain.

Daniels was a man going crazy and fought mental illness.

Cobb was a sort of a gangster.

None of those roles or acting performances are anything alike, but thanks for playing Who Wants to Hate Leo live on TD.com
