One thing I didn't like about the CA movies. They never really say where the shield came from do they? They show it's indestructible between those two and Avengers, but just leave it to the imagination.

I think I once read that the adamantium and vibranium alloy of Steves shield is stronger.

Well, they do, it's just a cheesy piece of shite in the first movie. LINK

Edit: Yeah, I guess they never do mention Wakanda. Whatever T'Challa

well superman gets that thing off on the quickness.

but for reals, Cap shield is stronger.

Here's are some solid questions for the MCUites out there:

in CA:TFA the rarity of vibranium alloy is mentioned by Howard Stark. As in, the shield was all they had. Now Cap has at least 2 shields made of the same alloy(presumably). Maybe a third one by A:AoU? How much vibranium is out there? Are there other weapons SHIELD (responsible for the shield) uses vibranium for especially since there was 70 years of Rogers on ice? If it's so limited, is making a second shield for Cap a valuable use of resources?

Wakanda is supposedly sitting on a huge deposit of vibranium that they use to make spears and shields and stuff. We haven't gotten to that yet in the movies though.

This would be bad arse...like a dark mirror universe of Eddie Murphy in Coming to America. The Black Panther animated series from BET was great as well. Would love to see this live action.

Why doesn't Iron Man make his suit out of one of those materials? Also, where does Thors hammer rank? I don't know what it is made out of but its pretty damn strong in the movies!

Because Adamantium Man or Vibranium Man doesn't sound as cool.

Thor's hammer was forged from the heart of a star. As a mystical item, it is probably indestructible.
