Mine was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954). One of the best movies ever made and looking back, so much must have gone over my 4 year old head. How very dark Nemo's story and actions were, that the sub is being run on nuclear power, all the sailor innuendo, and a lot of the context was lost on me.

I just saw it as an adventure with funny natives and a scary squid.

Army of Darkness. Loved that movie as a kid.

It's difficult to remember. My guess right now is either Swiss Family Robinson or A New Hope, though I always just called it Star Wars.

Probably The Land Before Time. Or Flight of the Navigator. Or The Neverending Story.

Depends on the year.

First: Beauty and the Beast
Second: The Lion Ling
Third: Return of the Jedi
Fourth: The Fellowship of the Ring

The final one is when I began to love film as an art and wonder what was going on behind the scenes. So I think Fellowship was my first true love when it comes to film, but I've had big time favorites in the past.

Son Of Flubber, my buddy and I went see it at the old King theater in New Roads when we were probably 8 or 9 years old and to this day don't know if I've ever laughed so much.

There's several in my early memory that fascinated me, but it's hard to say which one was first, probably Superman. Stars Wars was about the same time and I was a huge fan, but Superman really had the wow factor for me.

Honorable mention to Under The Rainbow. Carrie Fisher in her underwear, Chevy Chase, and a bunch of crazy midgets and all the hijinxs. I watched that one over and over, and I'm not sure how, didn't have cable at that time, much less HBO, haha!
