The first thing I saw was the Star Wars special editions. The Battle of Hoth was a reap “woah” moment.
Men in black was pretty cool as a kid.
Starship Troopers bugs scared the crap out of me.
Star Wars TPM didn’t really wow me outside of the Darth Maul fight.
Lord of the Rings absolutely blew me away. Those movies were mindblowing in scope at the time and still are.
The Matrix, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Braveheart, and The Patriot were missed in the theater.
The Last Samurai was absolutely mind-blowing in the theater and still holds up on video. Just a spell-bindingly beautiful picture.
I must say, Avatar in 3D IMAX was an experience. It was the coolest thing I’d ever f$&king seen. I hope the sequels can at least equal that level of immersion with an improved story and dialogue. Interstellar was similarly impressive.

Jaws for me. I was way too young to see that movie but my parents took me with them. Loved every second of it but I was scared as shite to even swim in a swimming pool for a while after

Flight of the Navigator. It was magical for 5 year old me.
That movie is still magical to 37 year old me.
