What was the last good truly original movie?

Not a sequel, or a spinoff, or a remake. But an actual original story line.
The last one I can think of was 1917, other than that The Departed, Darkest Hour, American Sniper, Quiet Place and maybe Inglorious Bastards. Almost everything else just seems to be rehashed garbage movies.
Movies have not been good for a decade or so.

In 2020 alone?
The Vast of Night
Let Him Go
The Gentlemen (technically a 2019 movie, but still)

Death of Stalin
It was almost like watching a historically accurate Mel Brooks movie.

You need to watch more movies.
As diluted as the industry has become with tentpoles and IP, there still have been incredible movies put out in the last decade.

I would say that the word needs to get out more when a good movie comes out that people need to support.
The good thing is that all of these movies are simultaneously premiering on both streaming platforms and in theaters.
I'm hoping that if studios paid attention to the analytics of these movies that are streaming, they will realize that audiences have a much wider range of tastes than generic, blockbusters, comic franchises.

Something tells me that the tech companies you’re talking about have some relevant analytics-driven data.

Good or great?
There have been a lot of "good" original movies recently

Pig. Still in theaters. Go watch something.
Again, go watch something. This is a bad take.

Truly original doesn’t exist.
You’re going to have to define what you mean.

A24 releases 100% original auteur driven film’s theatrically. I can’t remember the last movie they released so I’m going to say Saint Maud since it’s their last release that I remember
