A recent one that may have flown under the radar for many is Inside (2023). Dafoe plays an art thief that gets trapped in a penthouse. It’s a very slow burn but Dafoe was excellent in it.

At Eternity's Gate where he played Van Gogh. Also all the Eggers films he is in.
