Philosophy of a Knife trailer was intense. No way I could ever see the movie.

I don't know if I would still think it's disturbing today, and honestly I don't remember it being that disturbing when I watched it as a kid, but was just reminded of Flowers in the Attic and read a little about it and it was pretty messed up.

I really don't remember enough about it though and was curious if anyone here remembered much about it.

Flowers in the Attic.

Evil mom and grandma locking the 4 kids away in the attic and she starts poisoning them while Kristy Swanson and her bro start getting amorous. The movie is pretty tame though.

It's a pretty good cheesy matinee. I've never read the book but I heard it's more riske between the siblings and the grandmother is more evil.

It's on youtube.

Nurse Ratched plays the evil grandmother.

Yeah, I didn't think it really belonged in this thread. Just kinda popped in my head and couldn't remember enough about it. Figured I would drop it in this thread rather than make a thread about it.

But I also saw a number of films mentioned in this thread that I did not find disturbing at all.

Santa Sangre. It is disturbing in a crazy and confusing way. The first time I saw it was in a bar close to Halloween... I drank a lot that night to keep me sane.

Just read the wiki for Salo, and that has to be the closest competitor to A Serbian Film for most fricked up movie :vomit:

The movie was much more tame than the book and the book is actually a series so there is much more messed up stuff within the entire series.

Before The Devil Knows You're Dead

A really good movie that leaves you feeling all out of place and grimy.
