I think there was a Chinese reference in Season 1. So my guess is an island off the coast of China.
Also I think they said that there hasn't been communication for 2 weeks so I'd guess it's been 2 weeks.

I really enjoyed the Inception-ish scene of Bernard waking up on a beach. It was very similar to DiCaprio waking up in Inception.
He later said he dreamt he was on a beach. Well, actually Arnold says that's years before. But it's like Bernard was in limbo all these years and is finally waking up and becoming self-aware.

Yeah I think so. There's at least someone that knows. In the beginning, the Delos military contractor chick with the funny goggles had a red card with a picture of him and his name.

The shot of the hosts floating was pretty staggering. Jeffrey Wright is so good. He acts everybody off the screen.

I'm starting to see motives similar to "The Island, where Delos is taking human DNA and using it to create copies of the original human. But since hosts are just synthetics, I would think they could only be used as a step-in rather than repairing the original. That's some pretty serious shite if Delos had a long con going of setting up these hosts to take the place of the real person(a host that would still be under Delos's control). Surely Delos's own interest is purely capitalistic, though?

Yeah she’s pretty meh but she’s an actress of color so you can’t question her purpose in the show.
