You know there is the option to stop watching without the public declaration.

Didn’t even seem to add anything to the plot either just an hour of gay love fest.

Look, this is a valid, yet very played-out complaint at this point. No one is making you or anyone else watch it. Don’t watch it if you don’t want to. And so on and so forth.

TLOU is not a perfect show, and there are plenty of good discussions to be had. But if LGBTQ characters and stories make you uncomfortable, you are not going to have a good time watching this show, neither now or going forward.

I’m just saying.

Imagine being so insecure about your sexuality that you quit watching a badass show just because they show two men in a relationship.

Badass show? Are you new to TV? If the show had been good I would have continued…I was already bored with it and looking for a reason…gay sex may be just your thing. It’s not mine.

Good thing you stopped at episode 3 because the next one was just 60 minutes of hardcore gay zombie porn

Thanks guy! From what I saw, the show is basically just HBO’s version of The Walking Dead. No thanks.

Just wait til Bronc hits you up with a 900 word post about how all criticism of the show is based on homophobia

Which I guess would fit in well ITT

No need for 900 words, OP is crystal clear.

The episode was actually good too lol despite the cringe bed scene. I had to look away during that.

I skipped the Brokeback episode

Turns out, I missed nothing, storywise, and also didn't have to watch dudes make out.

The rest of the show was pretty good. Not great. They really neutered Joel. . .and in doing so they neutered Ellie.

But the writing and dialog was tits.

I was a victim of collateral damage due to my wife watching this episode in the same room I was working in. I got chest hairs in my mouth after viewing the scene. Literal chest hairs.

That's the only episode that's like that. The rest of the season is great. You could skip that episode and not miss a damn thing related to the overall plot.

I get downvoted by the board's lefties for saying it, but this is 100% correct

I’ve watched every episode beforehand because it’s the first show type of show like this I’ve watched with my kids. I screened Ep3 and told my kids it wasn’t really important to the plot, but was well acted and helps you to understand the loneliness of the show. They both declined and skipped.

I’m not going to show them the sex scene (just like we skipped the nudity in episode 2) but some people just aren’t interested in being force fed some stuff and for some reason people don’t like that.

But also people don’t have to make 30 threads about a single episode of a series they’ve decided to stop watching.
