Same. I quit after 3 episodes. It is bad.

The Apple TV apps suck, cross platform.

About 6 weeks ago, the app on my Roku TV stopped working. Deleting and reinstalling it had no impact. Why was I watching it on my TV? Because the Windows app hard rebooted my desktop 50% of the time I used it, even on a fresh Windows install.

I know nobody else cares, but the opacity of what happens in the way too frequent application updates is rage inducing.

This IS the same series which started out with Sam Neil as a small city sheriff out west, right? Then the story just took off around the world and left that chapter in the dust.

I dig the globe trotting and different stories, but man, some of these characters are awfully written. I get there needs to be drama, for the story to move forwards and all, but holy hell, this stuff is bad.

S2E1, the forced friction between the mom and her teenage son is super cringe. His attempt to steal 'petrol' from the military truck was terrible writing. Who knew that slightly ducking your head down while walking across an empty parking lot in broad daylight was an effective means of avoiding detection?

Do kids not play hide & seek? Or is this kid slow in the head? Seriously. The obvious maneuver would be for the kid to move to the other side of the truck and then have the mom drive around to pick him up. Buuut, they needed to get caught, so instead he pretends to be invisible and just... walks right back across the parking lot. I'm actually surprised they didn't have him trip over something and spill gas everywhere.
