Loved him his first two seasons. He got super annoying though.
That was intentional. I met the real Jim Halpert once. He told me how Greg Daniels named the character after him since they were best friends. He told me that their other childhood friend was disappointed that he didn't get a character, so he begged for a character on the show persistently. Greg Daniels relented and told him he'd be the most annoying character on the show. His name was Andy Bernard.

Doesn't Carell have a best actor nomination?

The fact that the show dipped in quality so much when Steve Carell left is a testament to him. The fact that it didnt totally tank at that point is a testament to Rainn.
This. The show really took a turn for the worse after Carell left and Dwight Shrute was the only thing that kept it going from absolute shite... well, Dwight and Creed.

Best actor to appear multiple times on The Office was either Idris Elba or Timothy Oliphant, I prefer Idris. Best actress to appear on it was Kathy Bates by far. But Steve Carell was the best regular.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read on this board.

"I went to Cornell. Ever heard of it? I graduated in four years, I never studied once, I was drunk the whole time, and I sang in the acapella group 'Here Comes Treble'."

Ed Helms was good, but the writers turned him into a giant douche. He basically quit caring and thought he was better than the job and his girlfriend. He didn't value either.
He did have one of the best serious lines on the office:

I love how many downvotes this got. This got more than my thread on how courts ruled vaccinations cause autism. That thread was 1-26, this is 1-34 lol

Its strange that no one ever brings up Jim (John Krasinski). He was basically the star of the show, until Michael Scott took off. The story is mainly from his POV and he was/is the focus. He grew from a love struck slacker to a professional father/husband. He was involved in almost all of the most epic scenes and he set-up Dwight perfectly. Plus he might edge out Steve Carrell for biggest post-office career, if the new Jake Ryan franchise is any good..

John Krasinski will only be known for two things: Jim Halpert and being Emily Blunt's husband

Steve Carrel Ed Helms, Rasheeda Jones, Craig Robinson have had bigger careers so far, i think. Idris Elba if you count him.
