Viola Davis In Talks To Star In ‘Peacemaker’ Spinoff for HBO Max

It comes after Deadline revealed that James Gunn, who will exec produce the project, was working on a second Suicide Squad spinoff series. He told us in January that it was “connected to this universe” but “won’t be as much a comedy as Peacemaker.”

She's an excellent actress, but I almost feel bad for her. She has shoulders like a linebacker.

Peacemaker isn't a supervillain and, if anything, Viola Davis is too thin to play Waller. But she does fine with what they give her for the role.

I believe you are correct.
I didn't watch the Watchmen TV show, but I heard it was awful. Guess maybe I should check it out to see if this will be worth watching.

White dragon is a legit DC character and some would consider him an a-hole. Good people on all sides. But it added to the story, explained some shite and made for a really fun Vigilante prison scene.

I don’t find her that interesting of a character. And a Suicide Squad show should have plenty comedy.

Waller was a great character in JLU but DC just can't seem to get a handle on her for live action.
