Upload S4 (Series Finale) Prime Video

S4 of Upload dropped yesterday for those interested. It's only 4 episodes, but all dropped at once and ends the series.
It's a heartfelt comedy type about people being able to live a digital afterlife at a resort environment by uploading their consciousness. It's a Greg Daniels show.

seems like a money grab, didn't they already tie a bow on this at the end of S3?

I really enjoyed this but felt like it fell off a cliff during season 3. The main girl is such an unlikable character.

I like Nora, but Ingrid gets over the top annoying.
I haven't finished S4, but I'm close to done and it's worth the quick watch IMO. Like I said, 4 episodes, each like 40 minutes or so.

First season was a nice surprise. Second season was ok, but started to get a little hard to follow I think. I may have only watched a couple episodes of the third and lost interest.

I LOVED season 1.
then it felt like an eternity before getting a season 2 and I think I kinda liked it but not nearly as much. I honestly don't even remember if I've seen S3 or not.
I really hate that so many shows wait so long between seasons.

Nora sucks. Everything with her is woke girlboss nonsense

I am also not easily offended by that type of stuff, especially in a comedy.

The ending was okish. Season 1 was so good, I wish they would have just stuck to a straight comedy sitcom style they had going instead of the drama about who killed him and all that came with the rich screwing over the poor storyline. They kinda pushed that whole thing to the side and went with a whole other storyline to finish the show. Writers needed to be reigned in by a better showrunner and stuck to what they did well.
It still had flashes of that throughout the seasons, but it dragged when they tried to progress the drama portion of the show.
It was a guilty pleasure, so sad to see it finish, but it lasted longer than it should have.

By all accounts Greg Daniels is a smart, creative and interesting dude, but he needs to be reigned in and put on course.
My analogy for this would be Six Degrees of Separation when Donald Sutherland's character (a big money arts dealer) asks a kindergarten teacher, "how are all of you students Rembrandt?"
And her answer was, "I know when to take it away." (paraphrasing)
It's a simple, but amazing concept.
