Was CF in seclusions though? I mean he was on True Detective? TV show filming schedules is kind of the antithesis of seclusion.
ETA: what if we're thinking about the intravenous drug use all wrong?

True, but that's also work - I mean for a celebrity "in seculsion" doesn't mean they don't work. Just that they're not hitting the red carpet scene or the usual celebrity hotspots in L.A. or NYC. Going out of their way to avoid unnecessary attention. In other words the opposite of what the Kardashians do.
Now, Sheen didn't really do that either, but holing up in the house and vlogging could be interpreted as "seclusion" - because he was kind of isolated (but still communicating - of course that was almost 5 years ago - man the time just flies by.

Intriguing - he is still partying pretty good and still attached to various starlets. Doesn't quite fit the profile overall, but yeah - depending on how one interprets these clues - yeah, could be.
If true and accurate as to the "major" actor, I would still have Sheen #1 and Farrell as #2 on my most likely, but - if they're being coy about the IV drug use, could be Penn - you can see on his face he's lived a rough life.

It's not 1985 anymore, HIV isn't a death sentence like it used to be (if you live in the US and have access to healthcare) - - hell it'd be scarier to be told you have cancer. That said, dude should totally disclose to partners.

Farrell has won a bunch of Irish acting awards - no Oscars, but he also has wins from Boston, Shanghai, London, Golden Globes, and San Diego - in looking it up just now, I'm surprised how many mid-tier awards he's actually won - now the Golden Globe was for In Bruges, but I remember him back in Tigerland and he was great in that before I even know who he was.

Nic Cage? That's who the silhouette looks like to me. Recluse, bad behavior...but what about his acting and his attitude toward people's thoughts about it? I can't imagine that he would be worried people would not remember his chops in Con Air or Ghost Rider.
Sheen seems too obvious, and I don't think he's world famous or would care about his acting legacy.
