If you’re a college football fan I couldn’t see ever passing a college football documentary up. Even if it doesn’t live up to the hype

Just finished it and really enjoyed it. The only part I turned my nose up at is when they asked “Do you think Tebow would have been as popular if he was black?”

Who the frick decided to put that in? It’s like they wanted to make Tebow’s popularity a race issue and then just immediately abandoned it

The people who think recruiting class don’t matter. It can go back even further but Florida had the number one class and won 2 NC’s

Watched it. It was a clear puff piece. Might as well been produced by UF. But I do love Tebow. That is a pure competitor right there. Made me like him even more.

Which is weird, because the Manziel episodes were pretty honest and straightforward. They left out mentions of LSU and Manziel beating out a liar for the Heisman, but other than that, they didn't sugarcoat his demons and weaknesses.

bullshite

The doc is fricking amazing - I don’t care if you are a football fan or not - it was very well done and I actually learned a lot.

Best doc of the year IMO

So does it get into the culture issues and a lot of behind the scenes stuff or is it mainly look how great Tebow and Urban were? I'll have to pass if it's the latter.

Don't understand why they bother if there's no deep dive. I guess they don't want to get sued...but if so, don't bother with airing a commercial.

Calm down. How much did you have to drink ?
As a college football fan it was good. I’d give it a 6.5/10

I thought it was entertaining but I had 3 main issues:

1) it was too easy on Urban Meyer. They did get into how the team had locker room issues but never did they even hint at it being a product of recruiting troublesome players and/or not holding them accountable. IDC what line of business you are in, attitude and culture starts at the top.

If they did a documentary on Coach O's time as HC of LSU, I would hope they would point out that when he had Burrow, Brady, and Aranda as culture setters and leaders in 2019 that they were on top of the world but when those guys left, it all fell apart because O couldn't keep the culture in place.

2) They really dismissed Chris Leak. They barely mentioned him and opted to focus on Tebow when the reality is that Chris Leak was a 4 year starter and former 5 star that led the program to a National Title.

3) They didn't really mention the fact that there was a serial killer on the team. Like WTF? People didn't anticipate this doc because of how good the team was, it was how good of players they were combined with how shitty of humans they were while also having this altruistic, uber competitive, Christian virgin at QB.

Gee, I wonder why you think this?

I'd be willing to bet the Jake Paul Untold is better than that pile of garbage and I haven't even watched that one yet and don't really want to

they also left out any mention of A&M boosters giving Manziel money. I get why Manziel wouldn't say so because he doesn't to bite the hand that feeds him

They kind of did though with the Avery Atkins situation. When Urban first got here, he was much more of a hard arse with discipline issues. After Atkins, things changed drastically.
