Anyone watch this new horror on HBO? Pretty good movie with a lot of interpretation to be made.

I saw it in Dolby digital which was very engrossing. I enjoyed it but don’t think it was well received by this board.

I started it last night but had to turn it off because my wife and stepdaughter came in and sat down (they don’t like horrors). Plan on picking it back up this weekend. I’ve heard good things.

I watched it Friday.
Great premise. But I thought the execution was just ok.
I didn’t find the audio files to be overly compellling w mystery couple.
The lonely house was creepy, but not much was done w that.
Lots of loose ends w sick mom that never really paid off.
Still, some chops low-key on display. I just think there was more there .

Agree with just about all of that. I finished it last night and thought it was pretty disappointing. They did a good job with the creepy premise and the setting of the house ans all that. But they left a LOT on the table.
And I agree that the audio files with the couple were probably the worst part of the movie and didn’t do much for me at all.
I’ve been looking forward to this one and Obsession. Hopefully Obsession is way better than Undertone was.
