looks like it could be good, or could be a snoozer.

Yep. It might be good, but then again it might be bad.

Ted made some great points in his manifesto that seem to become more true as the years pass.

But you can't just bomb the shite out of people for those beliefs

Some plugged-in young folks might try to copycat. Most of them weren't around when this was going on.

Celebrating the murder of ceos and stuff, someone is going to get some ideas.

So, they needed to make up a fake agent with girl issues... Got it. No need to feature the real agents, Terry Turchie and James Fitzgerald.

With Russell and pretty good production values, it looks like they fully intended a theatrical release for this. The fact that Netflix had the winning distribution bid may not be a good sign.

Edit: Correction, I looked it up, and Netflix signed on for distribution when the project was ready to go, just before filming began. So maybe they expect this to be the next movie they push for a Best Picture nomination?

Educated at Harvard and Michigan, Ted's last academic stop before dropping out was in Berkeley. Between 1967 and 1969. By all accounts his personality was a bit off, but did he get radicalized in Berkeley?

Wonder why Netflix didn't race swap this historical figure?
