I am a true Christian and did not watch but I can see by the posts in this thread that it was very detestable and a grotesque mockery. Everyone who gave this show ratings through viewership can enjoy their stay in hell.

What?!? I watched and there wasn't anything anti-Christian about it. It was a just a modernized version of the Passion of Christ. The Archbishop of NO was there are he or whoever runs his social media account posted positive comments about it.

Doesn't surprise me. Not true Christians. They can go to hell to.

The concept was good - a modern re-imagining of the Passion. But IMO they fell a good bit short in the execution. It wasn't bad per se but it could have been done so much better.
As has been pointed out by others, some of the songs they picked were at best iffy in fitting the scenes they chose them for. Heck, I think Sister Act did a better job in that regard. And the Trish Yearwood solos as Mary were forced and didn't mesh well with the rest of the production.
Also, I thought they kind of assumed a self importance and sense of awe that they did not earn.
To me it would have been better for them to do a live version of Jesus Christ Superstar. But then again that's always been one of my all time favorites.

Oh sorry. It was early and didn't realize you were actually trolling. Carry on then.
