I feel like having multiple timelines in this season is just taking away suspense from the earlier timelines.

I mean, the main theme of the entire show is time. The timelines are the whole point.

I liked the episode but I was hoping to see the shootout at the end. Next weeks episode looks legit.

This episode reinforces what we've thought about them covering up what they found in 90.

Loved the ghosts scene,,, mainly VC, but there was a noticeable well-dressed white man in there.

I wonder what went down to make the people abandon the town. Obviously you have this shootout that's going to happen but it makes me wonder about a bigger conspiracy or something. I don't think they've shown West Finger in 1990 all that much except dad Purcell was living somewhere not in town. What would make that town deserted in the present timeline?

I was worried there wouldn’t be an episode next week because of the super bowl

The ghost scene was cool. All people he’s killed I assume...? Which makes you wonder who the guy in the suit was.. I need to rewatch that scene.

Oh shite I got up to get something and didn't watch that scene closely, just listened. I'll pay attention on rewatch.

Welp my post from last week is looking pretty true at least from the standpoint that the mother was involved.

So you think she actually OD'd in 88 or she was murdered? I'm not convinced she was involved, but her conversation with Amelia sure hinted at it.

Very interesting that they’ve placed season 1 and 3 in the same universe. The only widespread complaint about season 1 was the build up to this huge conspiracy which ultimately fizzled out.

Can’t help but think this could be the follow through. The timelines certainly could be made to line up. Wasn’t the little girl on the infamous tape from season 1 murdered in 1991?

According to reddit in season 1 rust talks about himself being a tracker to marty much like Hayes. Rust also mentions that his father was in Nam. So whatever I guess

I could be wrong, but I don’t think everything they show in each weeks preview is on the following episode. Just previews of what’s left in the entire show

ETA: just went back and checked out the past previews and the preview following episode 2 had a clip from tonight’s episode

The dude they talked to at Hoyt Foods maybe?

Maybe Hayes kills him later on.
