But all in all this was some pretty convoluted shite. It wasn't a tight story. It wasn't awful. There were some cool elements.

Exactly, which a lot of people forget the downward turn that Season 1 had. It wasn't all perfect.

I'm wondering the same thing. Were they going back to America? Somewhere else in Venezuela?

Wasn't awful but could have been a lot better.

I could even handle the everyone dies sort of ending.

i actually love shows/movies with out-of-the-norm ending for protagonists. the writing for this season is what made it bad. not that it was "go watch transformers if you want explosions, lel!!!1!!!1"

Only thought was that since all the info was transferred in Venezuela, they had to leave country so that reporter would have no idea of their location

In that sense, where they were going did not matter

Realistic? How about the rash of mother frickers randomly dieing in this small town, yet no one gives a shite? Pair it with the information they had and release it in the digital age. It would have been picked up and given them an out.

Them dieing is realistic though?

I agree. I don't think it was bad at all. It wasn't as good as season 1

Fact, if Season 1 didn't exist, this show would be lauded on this board.

I thought it was a solid episode. I thought the mexicans popping up out of nowhere was kinda odd, and Velcoro being the real dad was too convenient. That kid looks nothing like either parent.

This isn't the first time HBO has had a series with this happening. Remember Hung?

I think you sum it up pretty well. Not great, but I can promise you I've seen far far worse. The last few episodes had been pretty intense as well.

It was awful compared to last season. No denying that.
