I liked the episode.
The funeral for Terry did kind of drag it down.
No idea what they are going to do for the finale now. Looks like Warlow may be a bigger focus in the finale.

This show is nearly unwatchable. I fast forwarded through all of the funeral crap. I have threatened to stop watching several times but I truly think I am done with this show now.

The funeral made it seem like the writers didn't know what to do with the Bon Temps characters so they created the funeral as a plot line but really, it was pointless, unnecessary filler.

I've never been to a funeral when half the guests say an eulogy. Also, what was the deal with Arlene wearing a black veil, having an outdoor funeral, and all the women wearing hats?
All the funerals I've been to are inside and only the actual burial is outdoors. Also, no one in 2013 wears black veils and big hats to funerals. Not at Nola funerals at least.

I didn't mind the Terry flashbacks b/c they were good moments for his character. I just didn't get why they dragged the funeral out for as long as they did.
of course, it also gave us yet another example of Sookie making everything about her with that bullshite "I'm a telepath" drop just before she told Arlene that Terry fell for her at first sight. She could have easily just said Terry said it to her but no, she had to trump a nice story with her announcement of how special she is. shite, Arlene even knows Sookie can read minds so she didn't even have clarify how she knew he thought that about Arlene.

Don't forget that Eric and Bill are primarily responsible for humans rising up against them.
1) They lied to the country when they said they had killed Russell, only for him to resurface slaughtering a fraternity.
2) Bill ordered the True Blood factories to be bombed which caused vampires to start attacking humans.
3) Eric killed the general knowing that it was going to cause massive blowback from the government.
