Tara owed Bill after he saved her in the last episode. That's the second time Tara has used Sookie's abities to communicate with her without anyone else knowing. She also did it last season at Russell's mansion when she was planning their escape.

tommy never showed remorse for his actions unless it somehow hurt him. im not buying this explanation.

I'm thinking more like fear. Tommy has screwed over the only family he has left and he knows it. He's scared without Sam he'll have to take care of himself.

I agree with that. I'm surprised Tara helped Sookie since Tara and Sookie haven't even spoken to each other since that night Tara was over at Sook's whining about lying to her girlfriend and Eric walked in the room and Tara tried to swat a fire poker at him. I think we can wrap up some loose ends if Tara gets killed by M/A. While she's at it, M/A can kill Tommy too. I don't exactly want Debbie to die, especially if Russell gets broken out of his concrete grave. I don't want Hoyt to die really, but at this point he doesn't have much left going for him (from his point of view). I mean, his father committed suicide, his mother disowned him and lied to him and guilt tripped him his whole life, his first serious girlfriend just hooked up with his bestest friend....I feel a depression coming on for him. Unless he can get some of Summer's delicious biscuits to make him feel better.

Ok here's a question that I have been thinking about. Why doesn't Tommy just turn into a giant grizzly bear and pull a Beorn on these punk arse werewolves? Couldn't he use his multi-shifting to his advantage and stop getting his arse whipped so much? At least turn back into that Gator and start chopping at mofos!

the witch should cast a spell and kill Tara for her treachery.

There must be some sort of honor code when a were or shifter has a personal beef with someone. You may remember that Debbie didn't try to shift on Sookie when they duked it out last season and neither Calvin or Sam shifted when they fought in Merlotte's. The only exception to this that I can remember is when Tommy shifted on Hoyt, but that was a sneak attack in which Hoyt never saw him shift.

I really enjoyed the earlier part of this season. The Spanish Witch story line was really fascinating. The last couple of episodes have been alright. Hopefully the last 3 episodes will give a strong close to this season. I am sure the writers will leave us hanging until the next season though.

I guess so, but I think it would be OK to use it in emergency situations, like getting your arse kicked by a pack of wolves. Shifters >>> Werewolves IMO

I can think of one more instance. Crystal's panther boyfriend shifted to chase after Jason when he escaped.

I would think not shifting in front of "civilians" would be the only rule (so, Sam vs Calvin in Merlotte's makes sense but Tommy vs a pack of weres in a closed garage does not). I kept saying this last night--why doesn't he turn into an elephant and stomp them? But I wondered if it's too hard to shift from the Skin-walker phase to animal phase? Otherwise, I'd go African lion on their asses and tear them apart--literally.

We need some shifter rules. I was thinking you could only shift into something you had seen.

Both Cooter and Alcide shifted to chase down Tara.

Yea, you right. I was just rewatching sookie's threesome dream and noticed that Eric is real eric, not amnesia eric in her dream. as much as I like nice Eric, I gotta say that real eric is much sexier.

Yeah she helped Sookie, by distracting the witch while Sookie looked for Eric. Sookie and Debbie were playing the witch. That's why they drove off together after, and that's why the witch said "fricking werewolves."

I think that helps make it easier, but Tommy and Sam have both shifted into birds on the (excuse me) fly during a chase scene before. I don't think they were looking at birds just beforehand. Also, in season 1, Sam would shift into a dog that was in a painting, but continued to shift into that same dog even when not around that painting, which suggests if he's ever seen a picture of something and can visualize it, he can use it to shift. Tommy shifted into Sam just by thinking about him after they talked on the phone.

wrong. go back and watch it. She pretended to help sookie then whispered to the witch that she brought her sookie. the witch said something to the effect of "the telepath?" and she said yea and the witch turned around to see sookie trying to save Eric. Then Debbie turned and ran out the front door. Just as debbie was about to pull off and leave sookie behind, Sookie came running out from the back of the store and ran up to debbie's car. Then debbie was like, "dammit!"

Debbie was faking friendliness with Sookie so she would trust her. Debbie figured if Sookie died by somebody elses hand, that Alcide wouldn't be mad at her...no blood on Debbie's hands and her problem (sookie) is taken care of.

So despie Debbie's best attempt to double-cross Sookie, she ended up helping her. It would serve her right if Marcus found out that she got involved in the vampire-witch war, or better yet, Sookie drops by Alcide's house to thank Debbie for all her help in front of Alcide.

Why did Debbie go back on V? I can't recall them showing her jonesing for it in past episodes.

I agree that it looks like Tommy and Debbie are going to die. Tommy has grown on me since he took the arse beating for Sam. Debbie is about to get messed up by the Sport pack leader.
