Read the source material before criticizing the script. Bc you are talking shite about one of the most epic stories in history

Which epic do you think I'm talking shite about? I'd like to know where Homer wrote that Achilles kills 8 or so personal guards in a poorly choreographed fight scene with terrible camera angles and an arrow in the throat. Achilles death wasn't even mentioned in the Iliad.

The series uses part of the Aethiopis for Achilles death. (Also no 8 personal guard in poorly choreographed scene or throat arrows) It's jumps from epic to epic which were often written in different centuries and the result is a bad series.

When Hector is dying in the Iliad, he prophesied the death of Achilles by hand of Paris and Apollo. In the Odyssey, it is confirmed Achilles died at Troy. So, Homer does allude to his death.

It’s hard to condense epic poems into Tv. I have no problem with them illustrating how great of a warrior Achilles was by having him take out 8 guards. And I have no problems with them illustrating Apollo guided the arrow by showing an impossible shot.

Maybe if you're 12 years old or a fig who desperately wants to normalize his behavior.

Otherwise, it's more like buddy cops.
