My kiddo ended up enjoying it, but she didn't love it like she did the first one.
What a throwaway having Kelly Clarkson being in it. She was prominent for what, 5 minutes?
It felt like they tried to jam as many songs into this and make it one big acid tripped medley of well known songs. The previews were not deceiving, this movie was pretty terrible. But, well worth it for my daughter to be entertained for a bit during all of this isolation.

You can see it here for free. The site has popups, so just close them and you can watch that plus many other movies like the new Bad Boys movie, Jumanji Next Level, Ford v Ferrari, Knives Out, Star Wars Rise of Skywalker, Frozen 2, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I think the secret is to have enough stuff in it for both adults and kids for these animated films to truly be successful.
My kids straight up enjoy unstructured crap that I have no interest in.

Rented it for my 3 year old niece to watch. She got up and chose to go to bed around the time of the cultural appropriation/revisionist history segment. Movie is garbage.
