Yeah just watched the trailer again with my 6 year old and he’s excited that it’s all about Woody. I think it’ll be fine.

More like people grew up with these films and it was a huge part of their childhood. It ended on the perfect note and people are protective of the property. I don't know why that is hard to understand.

Even if this movie sucks it changes nothing about the first three. Crystal Skill sucked but it didn't change the quality of the first 3 Indiana Jones films whatsoever.

Same rough plot, but when Disney got the reels back, they thought it was so good that it should be expanded by another 30 minutes with even better effects and having the same release date it was scheduled but in theaters instead of straight to video. They only had 9 months to make that film, which if you know Pixar’s typical process, that is fricking absurd. WALL-E had a production of like 12 years and Coco was in production for 7. That movie was fricking hell to make for Pixar and had them really pissed off at Disney for a good decade.

Ehh bad comparison. Most people already consider Star Wars to just be the OT. And TLJ, as wretched as it is, has no impact on the OT.

People are melting over this for nothing. Pixar hasn’t made a bad movie yet. Their worst movie to date was The Good Dinosaur and even that wasn’t a bad movie. Nothing in that trailer in makes it look like a bad movie.
And for people saying the movie “isn’t necessary”. Please. No movie is necessary. It’s all entertainment. The only statement more pretentious, yet more stupid is to say a movie is “important”. None of them are important or necessary. They are all entertainment.
If you want to pretend this movie doesn’t exist then no one is forcing you to watch it, much less talk about the TRAILER for it. The quality of this movie has no impact on the quality of the previous three. The Hobbit movies were a severe disappointment but they don’t change the fact that the LOTR trilogy was a phenomenal series of movies.
Quit crying Millennials.

It looks good. I dont think it needed to be made but looks like a fun movie nonetheless. Can’t and won’t ever top toy story 3.

looks like the people who created Finding Dory and Ralph Breaks the Internet got their hands on the next sequel no one wanted or asked for that is going to not measure up to any of their predecessors.
