Cause it's now old enough to where the kids won't even know it's a remake and if they do it's old enough to where they won't be interested in watching the original.

Well, the original Arnie version bore little resemblance to the book "We Can Remember That for You Wholesale." I'm hoping this version delves more into the psychological aspects of the original story. They've shown that Phillip K. Dick books can be made into excellent movies without totally rewriting them.
