I haven't seen that since it came out. All I really remember is being scared as a kid.

Of course the studio is going to push it as a Christmas movie. The more it’s played during Christmas time the more money they’ll make.

I’m 41. Saw the movie both at the Acadiana Mall cinema then again at Dollar Cinema in Lafayette. Remember the whole Bruce Willis phenomenon. This movie wasn’t a Christmas movie.

It’s a movie during Christmas. Not a Christmas movie.

I honestly didn’t even know this was actually a debate until last year.

I'm almost 43. In my opinion, Die Hard is a great action movie. Beyond that, I don't really care whether or not it's considered a Christmas movie.

Responding to someone mentioning, Gremlins: I saw it at the old Broadmoor dollar theater as a kid. It scared the hell out of me. I had forgotten that Gizmo was a Christmas present.
