Not quite. I am very involved with pop culture and could not tell you or recognize a character from it.

yeah it's almost like excellent plot, characters, and development of both (writing), fine direction, great casting,terrific acting, and a big budget equals a quality show. weird.

This. I download it in order to watch it but I'm the only person I know who does out of all the people I know who don't have HBO, which is most people.

You're right, it is a part of even my poor, hbo-less pop culture. Until yesterday when I wore it, I had forgotten, my nephew gave me a tee shirt with something about a "Direwolf" on it. I think he said he bought it when he was stationed in Westeros.
