As Above, So Below was surprisingly great to me.

I fricking hate found footage. But that movie was pretty good and pretty damn scary. Claustrophobia is scary enough. Getting lost in middle of the night in the Paris Catacombs? No thanks. And then paranormal activity?

1. Halloween (original)

2. Every other horror movie ever made

3. Halloween Ends. Might be the worst horror movie ever made.

Trick r Treat

A Christmas Story of Halloween movies...it can't get more Halloween than this movie.

I somehow have never heard of this before, but it seems to have quite a following. Is it actually worth a damn?! I’ve downloaded it, and will likely watch it tonight.

Yea it is a great little movie. It really checks all the boxes of what I like in Halloween movies. A Christmas Story for Christmas is a great comparison. It will bring some good Halloween nostalgia. It has some bits and pieces of elements from different genres of horror movies as well.

My perfect Halloween trilogy is:

Hocus Pocus
Trick r' Treat
Halloween (1978)

Agreed. About as good of a Halloween trio you can get.

I still have a soft spot for Halloweentown for just getting me in the mood for Halloween, but by no means is it a good movie

I watched return of the living dead last night. Easily one of my favorites. It's hilarious the zombies are great and that red head chick that gets naked in the cemetery has an insane body. I swear she's running around naked for most of her screen time.
