Reading up about filming, Art Scholl was hired to film Mav's flt spin (from a camera mounted to his plane), and he actually couldn't come out of the spin and crashed his plane into the ocean and died. I never knew that.

which is pretty odd because it's not that difficult to come out of it for experienced pilots
