I caught something that said all the actors had to go to flight school. And every one then did a 90 day accelerated Naval training course. Tom Cruise and a few of the others can actually fly the F18s. Even the ones who don't really fly on film. (Tom will have camera angles showing he is flying) learned to fly jets.

I saw Top Gun the night first gulf war started because I asked my dad what it was like and he said “I don’t know, maybe like that movie top gun.” I was 9 years old and made my mom take me to the blockbuster on the corner of sherewood and old Hammond.
