Welp, that's getting stolen. In fairness, I'll probably use it in response to one of your posts on the PTB, but this is a weapons-free zone, so well done for now.

They’re talking about the 2019 version which is indeed shite. It was just such a horrible idea from the start because lions aren’t the most expressive of animals in a live action setting. All they do is look bored or pissed, and that’s it. That’s fine for Shere Khan, but not for Simba, Scar, or Mufasa.

All of the Disney live action remakes have severely disappointed quality wise but it’s printing money for Disney so they will continue.

Don't let JJ off the hook. I would never decent Last Jedi, but Rise of Skywalker sucked all on its own.

You are not wrong but he was kind of handed a terd and asked to shine it. That's an impossible thing to do.

Every one is a remake or a sequel/spinoff.

Beauty and the Beast was decent. And Jungle Book was awesome.

I thought TLK and even Aladdin were okay.

I liked The Hobbit.

I liked them too. Have the extended editions on DVD even.

Always saddened me when these movies made a ton of money....A reflection of the movie industry becoming nothing but safe $ chasing; a reflection of a dumbed down global population.

I’ll take those Transformer movies over the woke bullshite we get nowadays.

I won’t lie. I like the first and third Transformers. Even the fourth one with the Dinobots was fine. Second one was ok. Then after that they just got silly!
