So IMHO Kim is long gone in the BB time line because Jimmy McGill doesn't exist anymore.
Go watch the scene in the basement of the vacuum repair shop with Walt. That's Jimmy. We also see Jimmy when he tries to quit helping Walt.
He will always be Jimmy, he's not going to "turn into Saul." Saul is just a character Jimmy plays for work.

Great, tense episode.
Nacho is screwed, though. I used to think he would end up being one of vacuum guy's first customers but now I think he's toast.
Gus isn't letting him go and now Lalo either already suspects him or will very soon once he chews over things a bit more.

I think Mike is going to go behind Gustavo's back and help nacho out the best he can. May be a secret Mike, nacho and the audience are only privy for.
Or perhaps Gus changes his mind being Mike gave him the Fear-motivation talk. Maybe Gus listens to his counsel, thus bringing the pair closer as trusted associates.
In other news, we need to maybe be mentioning Rhea Seehorn more in Emmy talk. She steals show at times, a show that is one of the top 3 best in current television. Bob has opened up more these past few seasons too.

And after Mike basically begged him not to kill the German guy, maybe this time around he listens and cuts Nacho free.

I don't see mike just killing nacho on gus' word, especially after killing the german. I feel mike will defy, or Gus will change his approach

I doubt it. I think Nacho and/or his dad have to use the disappearer to get away from Gus just as much as running from cartel.
Gus is the one threatening his dad.

I don't think Mike would ever kill Nacho but Lalo sure as hell would.

That's what I said?

Also..that was the most frightening Lalo has ever been. It seems like he gets calmer, but its more of controlled intensity.
Wonder if he is bringing nacho to meet Eladio

So who is connected to the disappearer? Mike goes to his old vet buddy, who knows the disappearer?

My guess is Mike finds him through the vet, but let's Saul handle it so his hands are clean.

Wonder if we will receive any Gene next week

Have we ever gotten a Gene scene outside of the intro of every season?

The drama with Chuck is kind of boring. I'm enjoying the backstory on Mike.
Should have focused on Mike and Gus and had Saul be a side character where he belongs.

Wondering if the final season will be like BB split into 2, sorta a before and after..
Or maybe another standalone film like el camino

That's incorrect. Gene has solely been in season openers.

I've been burned anticipating a Gene scene too many times to expect one before the opening scene of next season.
And that's OK because the story has now kicked in to such a high gear that I really wouldn't want to leave that story for a five minute segment of Gene looking all bug eyed and paranoid while he cruises around the mall.
We'll see him to open next season and I would guess that maybe the final two episodes will be Gene centric. That would parallel the Breaking Bad model where that story really ended with Ozymandias and the final two episodes wrapped up a lot of the loose ends and resolved Walter's status.

I trust Vince and Peter, they've never let me down in this universe.
That's the duo that Star Wars should have approached.
