It’s pretty crazy. Even though I knew Saul and Mike would make it through, that episode still kept me on the edge of my seat.

Lol. Just like Hank knew he was dead, Ham knows Kim is dead. He just hasn’t let himself accept it yet.

It was weird seeing him get do rattled when the granddaughter asked about his son. He's just always so laid back. Nothing bothers him.
Talking/thinking about his son makes him emotional. It’s the only thing. He goes off on his DIL in season 1 in the episode where he tells her the truth about Matty. She asks him if he was clean or dirty and he loses his shite and yells at her something like “God damn you! My son was not dirty! Get that through your fricking head!” before he storms out. He comes back later and breaks down and tells her the truth.
Great episode. Kim is “in the game” now. Ham may just wind up being right.

If this was The Walking Dead, we would be bitching about this part be just a filler. But, somehow Gilligan makes wakingb through the desert interesting and entertaining.
“Fly”.
Directed by Rian Johnson, but same thing.

Agreed. They could’ve done the same thing in a third of that time and given us more story. Not that they knew it when this was filmed, but this is prob our last episodes for 2 years.

I can’t wait to see what happens to Kim. And if she’s killed, how does Saul deal with that?

Screen rant has an interesting theory about what happens to Kim.
Basically she left herself an out marrying Jimmy by using a false name to invalidate the marriage (no middle name when she actually has one)
She then testifies against Lalo and enters witness protection.

I guess I have a similar theory based on the events of this episode.
When the time comes for Saul to betray Lalo and/or Lalo finds out that Saul has been working both sides of the field, he sends Kim into vaccum repair land to save her but she, of course, has to give up everything.

He thought he was breaking out of prison by trying to get fired from that cushy job that was lined up for him, but he ended up drinking his own piss out of a Davis and Maine water bottle.

Some good stuff but overall I was pretty bored with that episode. Way too much of them walking in the desert.

Knowing where the characters end up makes it great because you're just watching the events that shaped them.

What does she know about Lalo that she can testify to? All she knows is what Saul tells her, just hearsay. I hoping Mike or one of Gus' guys gets to Lalo before he gets to Kim.
