The riveting story about the man who traded away his 3 first round draft picks and the dramatic quest to get them back.

He ultimately got the best linebacker prospect in the draft, an elite running back, and a returner for 3 2nds.
Not the worst deal the Browns have made.

Awful GM. Spent two top 10 picks on a MLB and RB, had Seattle over a barrel and only got a PR thrown in, now stuck with an injury prone QB who's best days are behind him. And if Bo Callahan has a birthday party and none of his teammates show up it means Wisconsin's whole team is a buncha queers because the hoes are gonna be out in force at a Heisman candidate's birthday party.

I don’t even care for the NFL but I really like this movie. Very well done all around.

Don’t forget he got his #1’s for the next 2 years back also.
So he gave up his #6 and his next 2 #1’s for that years #1 pick which he used on a LB. he then traded his next 3 #2’s for the #5 pick which he then turned into that years #6 pick and he got back his original first round picks for the next 2 years on top of a PR.
He ended up doing a great job plus the LB at #1 will be cheaper than a QB at #1 short and long term

they almost had to try to put forth such an unrealistic NFL draft situation.
One of my favorites is when he’s talking to the MLB from Ohio State that Costner ultimately takes and the MLB tells him to go back and watch the whole film of this MLB against Wisconsin and the consensus #1 prospect Bo Callahan. And Costner has this realization that This MLB dominated Bo before being ejected in the second half, and then Bo gets it going and they win.
We were supposed to believe that this was some hidden gem revelation that wouldn’t be uncovered by literally every NFL team who would obviously watch the game film multiple times of a huge matchup involving two of the best players in the draft

The movie is frickin terrible haha. To say otherwise is just insane. The trades are dumb as hell.

Very enjoyable movie.
Covering a very beloved (to me) niche topic.
Don’t hate.

No college football coach, at Wisconsin nonetheless, would talk crap like Sam Elliott did to an NFL GM. No way.

I'm almost 100% sure that wasn't the story behind the scene in question. Mack supposedly had character issues and everyone pointed to the ejection in the Wisconsin game as an example of said issues. What people failed to recognize, however, is that he was ejected for giving his niece a football after scoring a touchdown.

Another thing I noticed. A supporting cast with actors like Frank Langella, Sam Elliott, and Chadwick Boseman is ridiculous for a movie like this.

This is even worse
One of the biggest games in the country and a top player in the country gets ejected for giving a football to his niece and everyone who vaguely follows football would hear this story and certainly every scouts/GM would know every detail about it

Is this streaming anywhere?

No, no it isn't

Dude...it’s set in a universe where the #1 pick in the draft was projected to be coming out of Wisconsin. If you can suspend your disbelief for that, you should be able to suspend your disbelief for the other thing.
