This is a rorsarch test of a movie.

Based in theory on the 2001 Stairway case.

Premise is a man falls to death and the wife gets charged with murder. And the movie digs into their lives to see who these people are why they came to this point in their lives.

The movie is French. And a lot of it takes place in a French courtroom. And French courtrooms are insane if you go off what’s presented in this movie.

The French allow for speculation as a part of their court procedures as long as you say your speculating so lawyers can throw out some crazy shite

Overall I thought the movie was fine. It was a bit different

I thought it was better than fine. I liked it a lot. Probably top 3-5 of the year for me. Some great performances for sure.

The courtroom shite was a bit too much. Some of the other stuff was too much. The only character in the entire thing I liked was the lawyer

Animal torture pisses me off. Add that to a movie that was good, but not close to great. Great performance from the lead and the son, but that was the only thing that made it better than 100 other court room procedural movies I’ve seen. Not close to best of the year.

Yes, the dog was good.i did like the dog. I hated the son for being so stupid.

I’m obviously mixed on whether she did it or not.

I don’t think it was an accident. Either suicide or murder
